    any chance you know who took this pic?
    I have several just like it, 1970

      Yes – I took it, in Leeds, and I thought it was in 1971. But now I look harder I can see dates in 1975 in one of the posters, so it must have been 1975 or 76, I suppose. So much for memory! I think this was the only such shot I took, though I do remember the impressive wall of fragmented and layered posters. On the same day, I took the two b & w images at the top of this post – -in nearby shops. Wonder who took yours?

        Mine are from Paris 69/70, exactly in the same style. In fact I thought they were by the same photographer as your image.
        can I send a couple pics? Perhaps this was a stylistic movement of the times that I am not aware of?

        Yes, by all means send a couple of pics -I’d be interested to see. Thanks. I think the interest in fragmented posters was something of a movement in France in the fifties and sixties – see some of the names under “Decollage” in Wikipedia, for instance. Best,RW
